"If there is a question on reshuffle soon, that is possible. Let us wait for the decision, as it is a consequence of dynamism in the political coalition," he stated here Tuesday.
The National Mandate Party (PAN) once joined the coalition in support of the incumbent president, commonly known as Jokowi, so that the party included its cadre in the cabinet.
President Jokowi entrusted the position of the minister of bureaucratic reforms to PAN cadre, Asman Abnur, but in the nomination of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2019-2024 term, PAN did not join the coalition supporting Jokowi.
Pratikno pointed out that President Jokowi was pleased with the performance of Abnur as the minister of bureaucratic reforms.
"In terms of his performance as the minister of bureaucratic reforms, Pak (Mr.) Asman Abnur is good and satisfactory," he noted.
Pratikno ensured that there would be only one minister to be replaced, and ministers, who would be legislative candidates, would not be reshuffled.
"Under the regulation, they have the right to take leave, and there are seven ministers," he added.
In response to a question on whether the reshuffle would be done on Aug 17, he said that the president who make the decision.
"This is a consequence of coalition, the president will decide soon," he remarked.
When questioned about who would replace Asman Abnur, he clarified that he had no idea regarding the matter.
"Let us see later. I still do not know the decision yet," he said.
He noted that Minister of Bureaucratic Reforms Abnur had delivered a good and satisfactory performance.
"He also assumes a right position, as he has the background as an entrepreneur and is able to manage bureaucracy to serve the people better," Pratikno added.
