Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia added no gold medal to its collection on the second day of the 18th Asian Games here on Monday, after all its athletes failed to win gold.

Three athletes representing the country at the Kyorugi event failed to reach the semifinal round.

In the men`s Kyorugi 58kg class, Reinaldy Atmanegara lost to Kuangwu Hou from Chinese Taipei. He lost in the elimination round.

In the women`s Kyorugi 67 kg class, Shaleha Fitriana Yusuf also failed to advance to the round of 16 after she was beaten by Wing Liu from Macau.

Southeast Asian Games 2017 gold medalist Mariska Halida brought hope after she could proceed to the quarterfinal round. Unfortunately, she was later defeated by Laetitia Aoun from Lebanon 22-23.

Indonesian taekwondo athlete Defia Rosmaniar won a gold medal from women`s Poomsae individual on Sunday.

She won the medal, the first for Indonesia, after successfully defeating Marjan Salahshouri from Iran.
