Indonesian athletes have an opportunity to win six of them, three from men`s, women`s doubles and women`s team art events.
Five other gold medals are expected to come from men`s J class of 90kg-95kg, men`s F class of 70kg-75kg, women`s D class of 60kg-65kg, C class of 55-kg-60kg and B`s class of 50kg-60kg.
Sugianto will perform in the men`s singles art event competing against athletes from Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines and Laos at 9am.
In the women`s doubles event Ayu Sidan Wilantari/Ni Made Dwiyanti would compete against pairs from Laos, Vietnam, India, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
In the women`s team art event Indonesian athletes would take on against athletes from Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and Singapore.
In the combat event Vietnamese athlete Van Tri Nguyen would meet Mohd Khaizul Yaacob from Malaysia in the J class of 90kg-95kg while Dinh Nam Tran in the F class of 70kg-75kg would fight against Mohd Fauzi Khalid.
In the D class of 60kg-65kg Indonesian athlete Pipiet Kamelia would face Thi Can Nhi Nguyen from Vietnam and in men`s C class of 55kg-60kg Hanifan Yudani would meet Thai Linh Nguyen and in the women`s B class of 50kg-55kg Wewey Wita would fight against Thi Them Tran.
In the previous final rounds Indonesian athletes were able to collect eight gold medals from 16 events including six art and 10 combat events.
The gold medals won by Indonesia on the first day were contributed by Puspa Arumdari from the women`s singles event, Yola Primadona Jampi/Hendi (men`s doubles), Nunu Nugraha/Asep Yuldan Sani/Anggi Faisal Mubarok (men`s team), Aji Bangkit Pamungkad, Komang Harik Adi Putra, Iqbal Candra Pratama, Sarah Tria Monita and Abdul Malik.
