Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Ministry of Social Affairs will collaborate with the National Indonesian National Welfare Council (DNIKS) to build entrepreneurship from the grassroots level based on the industrial revolution 4.0, in order to build social welfare.

"The Ministry of Social Affairs and DNIKS will focus more on improving and building entrepreneurship at the grassroots level," Social Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said in Jakarta on Thursday.

The minister stated this while opening the National Social Welfare Conference X and National Meeting of DNIKS 2018 in Balai Agung City Hall of DKI Jakarta, adding that entrepreneurship should not be outdated but must adapt to the existing dynamics.

"A very natural thing is that the form of entrepreneurship must be based on industry 4.0. We are ready to cooperate with DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and DNIKS," Kartasasmita added.

The minister noted that it was the time to prepare national cadres at the grassroots level and encourage them as the subject of development.

DNIKS Chairperson Tantyo Adji Sudharmono remarked that the social problems faced by DNIKS were related to the quality of human resource capital.

"This program in the National Working Meeting aims to improve the human capital of all activists and social workers, so that we are able to face the all-digital era 4.0. This is our biggest challenge," Sudharmono revealed.

He explained that the mindset of social workers must also be changed and they must no longer only seek donations.

In addition, there must be an effort from the millennial young generation to participate in social activities.
