Jakarta (ANTARA News)- Vice President M Jusuf Kalla paid a working visit to Bali, on Wednesday among other things for a dialog on Disaster Risk Insurance and Financing.

Kalla is also expected to attend a dinner organized by the US-Indonesia Society on the resort island.

He departed from Halim Perdanakusumah in East Jakarta on Wednesday morning, and greeted by Bali Governor Wayan Koster upon his arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, Bali.

From the airport, he proceeded to Trans Resort Bali Hotel to officiate a launch of CNBC economic news channel.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani will greet Kalla in the Bali International Convention Center (BICC) where the vice president will deliver a keynote address in the dialog.

During his stay in Bali, Kalla is also expected to meet Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank leaders.

He is scheduled to return to Jakarta in the evening after attending a dinner hosted by the US -Indonesian Society, together with US Ambassador to Indonesia Joseph RI Donovan.
