Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has put in detention cells six Central Kalimantan regional legislators and business leaders on charge of corruption.

KPK named seven suspects but one is still at large.

The six suspects were among 12 people rounded by the anti graft agency in a caught-red-handed operation on Friday.

Four of the seven suspects were charged with accepting bribe including chairman of the Commission B of the regional legislative assembly (DPRD) Borak Milton (BM), Commission B secretary PUN, Commission B members Arisavanah (A), and Edy Rosada (ER).

The other three charged with bribing the legislators are Director of PT BAP or deputy President Director of PT SMART. Tbk (PT. Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology) Edy Saputra Suradjat, CEO of PT BAP for northern Central Kalimantan Willy Agung Adipradhana, and Legal Manager of PT BAP Teguh Dudy Syamsury Zaldy .

Teguh, however, is still at large , a deputy chairman of KPK Laode Muhammad Syarif said here on Saturday.

In the operation KPK confiscated RP240 million in cash for evidence from the suspects.

On Thursday, KPK arrested Regent of Cirebon on charge of corruption over illegal payment for civil servant post, fee for project license.

Regent Sunjaya Purwadisastra (SUN) was arrested together with secretary of the district public works service Gatot Rachmanto (GAR).
