According to the presidential debate format, each of the presidential candidates will explain their respective visions and missions.
They will later pick questions from the bucket of questions related to infrastructure, energy and food, natural resources and the environment that they will answer in the following segments.
In the second segment, they will elaborate on their visions and missions related to infrastructure, energy and food.
They will later explain their visions and missions related to natural resources and the environment in the third segment.
In the second and third segments, they will respond to each other`s visions and missions.
In the fourth segment, they will get involved in an exploratory debate where they will respond to the questions the panelists have actualized in a video form.
The chief of the General Elections Commission (KPU) will choose the video at random in the first segment.
In the fifth segment, they will raise questions to their contender freely. However, the questions must be related to the theme of the debate.
The two presidential candidates will deliver their closing remarks in the sixth segment.
Incumbent presidential candidate Joko Widodo who teams up with Ma`ruf Amin will compete with Prabowo Subianto who picks Sandiaga Uno as his running mate in the presidential elections scheduled for April 17, 2019.
