Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the working room of Indonesian House of Representatives member Muhammad Nasir as part of an investigation related to receiving gratification along with a suspect, who is the member of the House of Representatives Commission VI, Bowo Sidik Pangarso (BSP).

"The room that was searched belonged to Indonesian House of Representatives' member M Nasir," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah confirmed here on Saturday, adding that the search process was carried out from around 11.00 am to 01.00 pm local time.

"The Corruption Eradication Commission conducted the search to verify information on alleged gratuity funding sources received by BSP, related to the management of DAK (Special Allocation Funds)," Febri said.

Meanwhile, the plan to examine witnesses who knew the source of the gratuity funds would be further explored by the agency starting this May, he said.

At present, Febri said at least three sources of gratuity funds have been identified by Bowo Sidik.

"However, because the process is still in the investigation phase, we cannot convey more detailed information," Febri said.

In addition to the gratuity case, Bowo Sidik has also been named as a suspect in a bribery case for the implementation of a shipping cooperation between PT Pupuk Indonesia Logistik (PILOG) and PT Humpuss Transportasi Kimia (HTK).
