"Our calculation showed that some 30 percent of the traffic that earlier passed Nagreg in the previous years has moved to the northern coast route," a spokesman of the office Ruddy Heryadi remarked here on Tuesday.
The office's Traffic Count has recorded 437,256 vehicles passing the Nagreg line in Bandung District two days prior to Eid al-Fitr, or 41.7 percent lower than those in 2018.
"The traffic volume might rise a day before Eid, but we do not know yet," he added.
