Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) won awards in the organizational category for “Best Use of Technology for Recruiting” and an award for Human Resource Strategy.

In addition, General Affairs and Human Capital Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Naufal Mahfudz won the Chief of Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of the Year Award at the 10th Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards 2019 in Singapore, August 15, 2019, according to a statement from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan at Jakarta on Friday.

This activity was attended by more than 400 senior HR leaders & learning and development professionals from some 200 companies in Asian countries. This award was received directly by Naufal from the Employer Branding Institute and World HRD Congress.

The 10th Asia's Best Employer Brand Award was organized by the Employer Branding Institute, the World HRD Congress, and Stars of the Industry Group.

Several organizational and individual category awards were handed out at a solemn event at Pan Pacific and Raffles Boulevard, Singapore.

Within the Employer Branding Institute, senior leaders in the HR field are connected to each other in sharing best practices in branding outstanding companies and professionals in several geographical areas that contribute to Talent Management, Talent Development, and Talent Innovation. The Employer Branding Institute is headquartered in Mumbai, India.

Naufal has been active for over 25 years in the field of organizational and HR development. He began his career as senior staff at PT Wijaya Karya (Persero), a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) involved in the field of construction services, to become general manager of HR at this company.

Furthermore, Naufal worked in multinational companies in electronic products, specifically as general manager of HR in Sony Asia Pacific Corporation.

The Doctoral Candidate for School of Business and Management of the Bogor Institute of Agriculture then held the position of director of HR, General Affairs, and IT at the Antara News Agency before becoming the GA and Human Capital Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

The recipient of several awards in the field of Human Capital, including The Best Ten Indonesian Human Capital Director in 2017, has a belief that the key to the success of a company to become an excellent organization is its competence and human resource capabilities.

This is since he strongly believes in the importance of HR management as the best way forward for an organization.
