Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Police's anti-terror squad (Densus 88) arrested suspected terrorists from diverse locations in Jakarta and Bekasi, West Java, on Monday.

"(The police) have taken a preventive strike at some locations to deter terror attacks," spokesman of the Indonesian Police Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo remarked here on Monday.

Prasetyo noted that the terror suspects were members of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) Bekasi chapter and some other chapters.

Densus 88 confiscated high explosive bomb material Triacetone Tripreoxide (TATP) and some other hazardous materials from the suspects.
