All patients -- 846 males and 832 females -- confirmed positive (for COVID-19) are being treated at Towers Four, Five, Six, and Seven
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Some 1,678 COVID-19 positive patients are still undergoing treatment at the Wisma Atlit (Athlete's Village) Emergency Hospital for COVID-19 in Kemayoran .

"All patients -- 846 males and 832 females -- confirmed positive (for COVID-19) are being treated at Towers Four, Five, Six, and Seven," the hospital's chief, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian noted in a written statement received here on Wednesday.

Mudian noted that 1,736 patients were recorded in the previous data, albeit the figure had declined by 58. In total, 121,294 patients had made a recovery at Kemayoran Athlete's Village COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

Some 984 patients were referred to other hospitals, while 584 patients succumbed to the disease. The recapitulation of patients in the four towers was conducted from March 23, 2020, to August 11, 2021, at 8:00 local time.

Moreover, the number of registered patients reached 124,540, with 122,862 patients leaving the Kemayoran Athlete's Village COVID-19 Emergency Hospital from March 23, 2020, to August 11, 2021.

Marine Colonel Mudian also furnished updated information of COVID-19 patients at the Pademangan Athelete's Village and Galang Island Infectious Disease Hospital (RSKI).

Some 5,840 inpatients, comprising 2,387 male patients and 3,453 female patients, are being treated in Towers eight, nine, and 10.

Some 204 inpatients had contracted COVID-19 at the Galang Island Infectious Disease Hospital (RSKI).

During the period from April 12, 2020, to August 11, 2021, the Galang Island Infectious Disease Hospital recorded a total of 15,389 registered patients, of which 15,185 left the facility. The latter figure comprised 42 patients referred to other hospitals, 7,846 that made a recovery, and 7,297 that had completed treatment.
