"No requirements yet regarding vaccine certificates," Wihana stated in a brief message received on Wednesday.
The Depok city government issued the Depok Circular Letter No. 443/336/Kpts/Satgas/Huk/2021 on extension of Level 4 Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) against COVID-19 on August 10.
The circular letter was a follow-up to the national extension of PPKM Level 4 imposed by the central government. The extension policy was stipulated in Internal Affairs Ministerial Instruction No. 30 of 2021 on enforcement of PPKM Level 4, Level 3, and Level 2 against COVID-19 in Java and Bali.
Wihana remarked that the third extension of PPKM Level 4 would be conducted from August 10 to August 16, 2021. The policy was fully backed by support from the National Defense Forces, police force, and attorney, in terms of coordination and supervision during the period.
The residents were obligated to partake in the Protect Our Village Movement (JAGA KAKI) at the RT (neighborhood association) level and Kampung Siaga Tangguh Jaya (KSTJ) by dispatching the sub-district task force, sub-district monitoring team, and village task force. Along with the National Defense Forces and police force, they would strive to prevent and tackle COVID-19 in the RT area.
Residents living or conducting activities in Depok City must adhere to the extended Level 4 PPKM policy, as the government had imposed it, and should consistently follow health protocols in order to stem the spread of the virus.
Any person, office, entrepreneur, restaurant, mall, and mode of public transportation failing to uphold the rule will be subject to administrative punishment.
