"Every time I visit an area, I always observe their progress in vaccination because I want to ensure that the administration of vaccines and mass vaccinations run in all provinces, districts, and cities across the country," the head of state noted in his statement as monitored from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.
Also attending the door-to-door vaccination review in Klaten were Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) General Budi Gunawan and Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo.
On the occasion, Jokowi also noted that door-to-door vaccinations were being conducted to cover more vaccine recipients.

"Door-to-door vaccinations are conducted by visiting the community. Officers are visiting houses. I think this is also a service to the community," Jokowi remarked.
Some eight thousand people are targeted for door-to-door vaccination in Klaten District and Sukoharjo District on Monday. This activity is expected to facilitate people to receive vaccination in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19, Jokowi noted.
"We are optimistic that all people would have easy access to vaccines, so that everyone can be vaccinated immediately to avoid the spread of COVID-19," he noted.
President Jokowi had earlier departed from Gedung Agung, the Yogyakarta Presidential Palace, to review vaccination programs in Klaten District and Sukoharjo District, Central Java.
Accompanying the president during the working visit to Central Java Province were Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, National Defense Forces (TNI) Presidential Military Secretary Rear Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of the Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres) Brigadier General Tri Budi Utomo, and Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin, among others.
