Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will review COVID-19 vaccinations for the public and give instructions to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) in in the provinces of Aceh and North Sumatra on Thursday.

Jokowi and his entourage will depart from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, aboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft, according to an official statement received by the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat on Thursday.

Upon arrival at the Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar District, the head of state is scheduled to review the door-to-door vaccination program at Lambro Bileu Village, Kuta Baro Sub-district, Aceh.

In addition, the president will review vaccination activities for students at the Dayah Istiqamatuddin Darul Mu'arrif Islamic Boarding School, Aceh Besar District.

Jokowi is also scheduled to provide guidance to the Forkopmida at the Aceh Province level at Anjong Mon Mata, Aceh Governor's Hall Complex, Banda Aceh City.

On Thursday afternoon, President Jokowi will continue his working visit to North Sumatra Province after departing from the Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar District, aboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Arriving at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, the head of state is scheduled to head to Emplasmen Kuala Namu Village, Beringin Sub-district, Deli Serdang District, to review door-to-door vaccination activities for the community.

Jokowi will thereafter also head to the Beringin 1 Vocational High School in Deli Serdang District to review vaccination activities for students.

Before returning to Jakarta, the president will provide a briefing to Forkopimda across North Sumatra Province at the Tengku Rizal Nurdin Hall, Medan City.

National Defense Forces (TNI )Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, TNI Presidential Military Secretary Rear Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, Commander Presidential Security Guards (Paspampres) Major General Tri Budi Utomo, and Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin were among others that accompanied Jokowi on the flight to Aceh Province.
