"Some 543 inpatients were confirmed positive (for COVID-19) at Towers 4, 5, 6 and 7, while the original number (a day earlier) reached 532. The number of inpatients increased by 11," Mudian noted in Jakarta on Thursday.
He remarked that from March 23, 2020, to September 16, 2021, the number of patients referred to the Athlete's Village Emergency Hospital had reached 127,686.
Of that figure, 125,523 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1,026 patients were referred to other hospitals.
As of September 16, 2021, a total of 594 people patients succumbed to the disease.

On the same occasion, Mudian also shed light on the situation at the Galang Island Hospital for Infectious Disease in Batam, Riau Islands.
The number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital as of Thursday reached 278.
"There are 278 inpatients, of which 171 are men and 107 are women. The 278 patients were all confirmed positive for COVID-19," Mudian noted as quoted from his written statement.

He also pointed out that the number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital in the last 24 hours declined by 44.
"As of September 16, 2021, some 278 inpatients were recorded, while originally (one day earlier), 322 people were being treated," he informed.
From April 12, 2020, to September 16, 2021, the Galang Island Hospital handled 16,299 patients. Of that figure, 8,681 patients had recovered, 42 patients had been referred to other hospitals, while 7,297 suspected patients had completed treatment, he remarked.
The Galang Island Hospital for Infectious Disease reported one death due to COVID-19 as of September 16, 2021. The figure had not change since the last time it was reported.
