Amin, his entourage, and regional administration heads arrived at the governor’s office at 11.57 a.m. local time. Upon arrival, the Vice President directly conducted the meeting, the first agenda on the first day of his working visit to the area.
The meeting was also attended by members of the regional leadership communication forum (Forkopimda) and other stakeholders.
According to the agenda received from the province’s secretariat, the Vice President chaired a limited meeting of post-disaster recovery efforts in Palu that have been on for three years.

Thereafter, at 3 p.m. local time, he headed to the permanent residence of Tondo I and Tondo II to observe the condition of public housing affected by the earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction on September 28, 2018.
Amin spent around one hour reviewing the current condition of public activities at the new residential area.
The Vice President was accompanied by several state officials, including MSMEs and Cooperation Minister Teten Masduki, National Disaster Mitigation (BNPB) head Suharyanto, Deputy Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Minister, John Wempi Wetipo, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Agency/ National Land Office, Surya Tjandra, and Home Affairs Ministry’s secretary, Suhajar Diantoro.

At 3.55 p.m local time, Amin, along with Central Sulawesi Governor Rusdy Mastura and his entourage, headed to Al Khairaat Islamic boarding school located on Sis Al Jufri street, West Palu sub-district to meet educators, managers, and students.
On Friday (January 7, 2022), the second day of his working visit, Amin will chair a meeting on information dissemination at public service malls (MPP) and MSME empowerment at the governor’s office at 9.15 a.m local time. He is also scheduled to offer Friday prayers at Al Mujahidin mosque in the neighborhood and return to Jakarta thereafter.
