As far as I know, all schools have held 100-percent PTM
Jakarta (ANTARA) - South Jakarta Mayor Munjirin confirmed that all schools in his administration had started conducting face-to-face learning (PTM), with 100-percent student capacity, during the implementation of Level 2 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Jakarta.

The mayor noted that all educational units from kindergarten, elementary to high school have started to conduct offline schooling, with student capacity of 100 percent.

"As far as I know, all schools have held 100-percent PTM. Some schools even started the PTM earlier than the official instruction," Munjirin stated here on Tuesday.

However, the mayor did not specify the number of schools that had implemented face-to-face learning, though noted that a vaccination certificate was one of the requirements for students to participate in the PTM.

"All students must have received vaccination and complied with the regulated health protocols. They must follow the rules," he affirmed.

Earlier, Head of the South Jakarta Education Sub-department for Region II, Abd Rachem, stated that 85.52 percent of schools in the area had implemented offline learning.

Schools that had not implemented 100-percent PTM were still preparing various health protocol facilities, he noted.

The Regional II Education Sub-Department oversees schools in six sub-districts: Setiabudi, Pancoran, Mampang Prapatan, Pasar Minggu, Tebet, and Kebayoran Baru.

"A total of 85 percent of schools in region two had implemented 100-percent PTM. Some 15 percent schools had not implemented the regulation from the total of 1,119 schools from kindergarten to high school/vocational school, both private and public," Rachem pointed out.

Rachem stated that the school also has the right to determine the priority scale for the learning implementation process.

The decision to conduct 100-percent face-to-face learning refers to the Four Ministries Joint Decree (SKB) on Learning Activities during the COVID-19 Pandemic Guide.

The joint decree allows regions with PPKM Level 1 and 2 to implement 100-percent PTM.
