The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rain of light to moderate intensity in Pandeglang district on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as the potential for moderate to heavy rain accompanied by lightning, thunderstorms, and strong winds in some regions of Banten province.

Taking note of the forecast, the BNPB has appealed to the local government and community to stay alert, especially if heavy rain occurs over a long duration or lasts more than one hour.

Muhari appealed to the people residing around the cliff to be aware of the potential for ground movement and the people living near the river to be mindful of any increase in water levels that could potentially cause flooding.
