We are preparing audio-visual instructions for blind and deaf peopleJakarta (ANTARA) - Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo affirmed that the National Police (Polri) will continue to improve its public services, especially facilities for people with disabilities.
"We are preparing audio-visual instructions for blind and deaf people," Prabowo noted in a statement here on Thursday.
The police chief affirmed that Polri's public service transformation aligns with the 2022 Government Work Plan (RKP) priority number seven that aims to strengthen the stability of politics, law, security, and the transformation of public services.
"This is a road map regarding public service that we need to improve as mandated by the president," he remarked.

Probowo urged all sectors related to public services to make requisite preparations for complaint and complaint handling services that can be used for evaluation to measure the quality of service they provide.
"It means we are being open. We need to be open to inputs and corrections. Maybe we think we already provide good services, but the community has not felt that. Thus, many things must be improved," he remarked.
The police chief expressed optimism that public services would utilize the information technology base as one application. Thus, citizens throughout the country would be able to access one platform to obtain excellent services.

In a bid to achieve this, Probowo emphasized that Polri had continued to improve the competencies of its human resources.
"We seek support. Polri is committed to becoming an organization that develops and makes improvements, and this requires supervision and correction from all stakeholders," he remarked.
The National Police Chief made the statement during the presentation of the results of the evaluation and awards for public services of the National Police in 2021 from the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (KemenPAN-RB) at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit Building, South Jakarta, on Thursday.
