South Sulawesi's Communications and Informatics Office Head, Amson Padolo stated that following the meeting at the governor’s office, the prime minister was expected to visit a flour company in the city port, Eastern Pearl Flour Mills, a subsidiary of Australia’s CBH Group.

The provincial authority would also offer an opportunity to the Australian government for cooperation in the trade and agriculture sectors, he noted.

Before his visit to the governor's office, the prime minister earlier visited Hasanuddin University in the city, the official added.
