BI Jakarta Representative Office's Chief Onny Widjanarko remarked that the event held on June 16-18, 2022, in a hybrid format is an effort to encourage economic actors amid Jakarta's improving economic growth.
"This event is held annually and aims to encourage economic recovery and raise the MSMEs' class, as the products came from MSMEs," he noted during a press conference here on Tuesday.
The JaKreatiFest comprises the pre-event, main event, and post event. These series of activities start from a webinar on consumer protection on financial transaction.

The webinar is then followed by the Wastra Party on June 10-16, 2022, that involves traditional cloth and batik craftsmen across Indonesia and showcases products at affordable prices.
The event will be held in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) area, with expectations of drawing millennial visitors.
The main event JaKreatiFest will be held on June 16-18, 2022, through Zoom, Instagram, and YouTube online, and also on Sarinah live.
A total of 30 MSMEs from the fashion, culinary, craft, and coffee sectors are involved in the JaKreatiFest live exhibition. Meanwhile, during the online exhibition, around 200 MSMEs in Jakarta participate in the event.
Widjanarko noted that MSMEs in Sarina will already be curated. Thus, their products will be of premium quality though still affordable.
The online MSMEs exhibition will be held in collaboration with the marketplace Bukalapak to encourage the digitalization of MSMEs.
BI also expects Rp5.2 billion worth of transactions to take place during the event, he noted.
