This morning, people were only able to enter the application page but could not enter the vaccination verification pageJakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Ministry of Health announced resumption of normal operations of the PeduliLindungi website and application on Wednesday at 9:30 local time after disruptions were encountered due to the routine maintenance process.
The ministry made the statement through the Twitter account @PLindungi on Wednesday.
Earlier, Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Health Ministry Siti Nadia Tarmizi remarked that system disturbance occurred due to routine maintenance.
"This morning, people were only able to enter the application page but could not enter the vaccination verification page," Tarmizi explained.
She noted that routine maintenance of the PeduliLindungi system network had been completed at 3:00 local time, but the engineering team had extended the maintenance process.
"In the next few hours, the PeduliLindungi website and application can run normally," she added.

Tarmizi noted that her side had informed the Port Health Office (KKP), airport management, and public transportation regarding the disturbance.
"During PeduliLindungi's maintenance, people can show their vaccine certificates that have been downloaded or stored on their cell phones as requirements to use public transportation," Tarmizi said.
In addition, people is advised to immediately update their PeduliLindungi application to the latest version.
One of the users of the PeduliLindungi application, Fitri Haryanti, said she had been experiencing disturbance while using the application since Tuesday, September 13.
"Mine was already back to normal, last night. I can open the application properly," she added.

The operator also provides notifications for users to immediately update the software to the latest version 4.5.4.
The PeduliLindungi application is developed by the government to help curb the spread of COVID-19 transmission. The application is available for devices with Android and iOS operating systems and a website version as well.
The application has several functions including providing warnings to users if they are in areas with many positive cases of COVID-19, monitoring the movement of people exposed to COVID-19, and downloading vaccine certificates.
In addition, the application provides information on COVID-19 test results and functions as a tool to access public transportation services and other public places.
In future, PeduliLindungi will transform into a citizen health app that is integrated with medical record data and other health applications.
