The MPP can become a legacy from the (current) regional heads. Although there may be obstacles (encountered) regarding the place, budget, and system (in preparing the MPPs), but they can be overcome through innovations.
Bogor, W Java (ANTARA) - Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas encouraged all districts and cities to include the establishment of public service malls (MPPs) as a part of their priority programs to integrate public services.

The minister conveyed the statement while visiting the Graha Tiyasa Bogor City MPP, West Java Province, on Friday.

The first MPP of the city provides almost complete public services, so it will be a reference for the development of MPPs in other regions, remarked.

"MPP is a concern of the PANRB Ministry to encourage (the implementation of) integrated services, and we hope that (later), there will be OSS (Online Single Submission) information dissemination service here, since not all of the community understands or knows what OSS is," he remarked.

The minister assessed that the success of the operation of MPPs depended exceedingly on the regional governments’ innovation and creativity.

In future, his side will include the successful implementation of MPP as one of the aspects considered in providing incentives to regional governments.

Currently, 67 MPPs are located across Indonesia, and more MPPs are expected to be inaugurated.

He noted that the innovations conducted by the Bogor City Government in opening the MPP were through collaboration with corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs as well as preparing the strategic location for the facility.

Regional Secretary of Bogor City Syarifah Sofiah remarked that community satisfaction towards services provided at the MPP had increased, as the facility had received an A predicate twice in a row.

"The service has been carried out consistently, as institutions at the MPP provide a one-stop service to the community," she remarked.

She stated that the Bogor city government was currently considering whether it is necessary to open new MPP, as the existing MPP is easily accessible to the public.
