Domestic travelers who (only) received the second or first dose of vaccine cannot get on the planePraya, Central Lombok (ANTARA) - The manager of Lombok International Airport, West Nusa Tenggara Province, has ensured airport facilities and infrastructure are readied to support logistics and spectators at World Superbike (WSBK) at Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit on November 11-13, 2022.
"Lombok Airport is ready to cater to flights at the WSBK Mandalika event," PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok Airport Public Relations Arif Haryanto stated here, Monday.
Haryanto confirmed that no problem was found in the supporting and service facilities at Lombok Airport while adding that the supporting facilities had met the standards akin to that for the MotoGP event in March 2022.
"The supporting facilities are ready," he stated.

As for requirements of passengers, Haryanto's administration has continued to follow the applicable regulations from the government, based on the Circular Letter of the Transportation Ministry Number SE 82 of 2022 on domestic travel guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prospective passengers, who had only taken the first and/or second doses of vaccines, were not allowed to travel domestically by plane. Hence, they should have received a booster vaccine.
“Domestic travelers who (only) received the second or first dose of vaccine cannot get on the plane," he remarked.
The letter also noted that passengers on domestic routes, aged 18 years and above, should have received a third dose of vaccine or the booster shot. As for those aged six to 17 years, it was mandatory to have received a second dose of vaccine.
Foreign travelers, in the age bracket of 18 years or above, who were looking to travel domestically, should have received a second dose of vaccine. Moreover, foreign travelers, aged six to 17 years, who were looking to travel domestically, were excluded from the obligation to vaccinate.

"Domestic travelers, who received the third dose of vaccination (booster), are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test," he expounded.
Domestic travelers under the age of six years were exempted from vaccination requirements. However, they must go along with a companion, who had met the COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
Furthermore, domestic travelers with differing health conditions or comorbidity that prevented them from receiving vaccinations were also exempt from the vaccination requirements, and they were necessitated to show a doctor's certificate from a government hospital.
"Every Indonesian citizen, who flies on domestic routes, is required to use the PeduliLindungi application and meet travel requirements according to the latest flight requirements issued by the government," he remarked.
