Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin while virtually opening the HIMSS22 APAC Health Conference & Exhibition, also urged hospitals in the province to be at the forefront of providing medical tourism.
Head of the public relations division of Prof. Ngoerah Hospital Dewa Ketut Kresna said that the program is a strategic opportunity to promote the hospital, which was previously named Sanglah Hospital.
"Like what the minister has said, hospitals in Bali are encouraged to have medical tourism (services), and Prof. Ngoerah Hospital itself has readied them, especially heart surgery, maternal and child health, cancer, and aesthetic center services, which are expected to complement medical tourism services in Bali," Kresna said.
