"(The fact-finding team) will comprise 13 persons—3 team leaders and 10 members," Mahfud informed during an online press conference, which was followed from here on Monday.
He said he will preside over the fact-finding team, while Youth and Sports Minister Zainudin Amali will serve as the team's deputy head and former deputy attorney general Nur Rochmad as the secretary.

Members of the fact-finding team will include University of Indonesia academic Rhenald Kasali, Yogyakarta State University rector Sumaryanto, sports pundit Akham Mahali, sports journalist Anton Sanjoyo, and former national football team player Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto.
They will further comprise former official of the Soccer Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) Nugroho Setiawan, former National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) head Doni Monardo, National Sports Committee (KONI) deputy head Suwarno, former West Kalimantan police head Sri Handayani, and partnership representative Laode M. Syarif.
The team has commenced its investigation into the tragedy, Mahfud said adding, the probe is expected to last two weeks to one month.
"The investigation report and recommendations will be presented to President Jokowi (Joko Widodo). The names of the team members have also been informed to the President," the minister informed.
The decision to form the fact-finding team was agreed upon during a coordination meeting attended by several government ministers, police and military commanders, and representatives from KONI and PSSI earlier on Monday, he said.
Besides supporting the fact-finding team’s investigation, the government has also instructed the police to investigate individuals responsible for the crowd crush and reveal their names to the public and asked TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa to initiate action against TNI officers allegedly involved in the incident, as claimed by viral videos circulating on social media, he added.
