We present three special events at the 9th ISEF in 2022, including the Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival (IN2MOTIONFEST)
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The business matching held as part of the Road to Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2022 has generated a turnover of Rp9.43 trillion for participants, Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo informed on Thursday.

“We have conducted business matching and international exhibition, which have been attended by more than 372 thousand participants, with a turnover of Rp9.43 trillion," he said at the opening ceremony of the ISEF 2022 here.

The Road to ISEF 2022 had been carried out since April 2022 through the implementation of three sharia festivals in South Sulawesi, Aceh, and East Java provinces, with the theme of "Recover Together Recover Stronger: Optimizing Sharia Economy and Finance for Inclusive Recovery,” in line with the theme of Indonesia’s 2022 G20 Presidency, he added.

Meanwhile, the implementation of the ISEF 2022, which is being held from October 5–9, 2022, will include a number of national and international forums, conferences, and seminars.

The ISEF events will discuss three main topics: inclusive sharia economy, halal and green lifestyle, as well as digitalization, so that the community-based sharia economy sector in Indonesia can be developed according to international standards.

"We present three special events at the 9th ISEF in 2022, including the Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival (IN2MOTIONFEST), where we have 163 designers exhibiting 1,256 works," the BI governor noted.

He said he believes that if it can be held three years in a row, IN2MOTIONFEST will become the world’s biggest international festival of modest fashion.

As part of the government's efforts to support the halal certification of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Free Halal Certification (SEHATI) is being offered at ISEF 2022.

In addition, the government is striving to make Indonesia the world's center of halal spices and food by promoting local halal products and establishing the global halal hub road map.
