He made the remarks in his opening address at the plenary cabinet session at the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, as monitored through the Youtube account of Presidential Secretariat on Wednesday.

"We must truly test all, beginning from plan A, plan B, plan C, plan D to plan E, all of them must be there. The worst, the worse must be reckoned. So, once again, (when) the situation is getting worse, measures must be prepared to anticipate its impact on the domestic (economy)," he said.
In the closed door meeting, the President reminded his rank to exercise caution in making policies, which may affect the national economy amidst the difficult global situation.
"Our caution in making every policy must not exit from our management since the situation is extraordinarily difficult. Once again, the policy of each ministry and institution must be taken carefully." he said.

Therefore, he encouraged strong relations among ministries/institutions to face the global economic slowdown, food, energy, and financial crises.
"We will invite several ministers and coordinating ministers to talk about stress test, how far will our strength be if the storm comes, regarding currency, exchange rate, inflation, growth," he said.
