Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta administration's family welfare empowerment mobilizers team (TP PKK) has launched a PKK study room for small groups of women or Dasawisma to support more accurate and faster data collection through digitization.

"(Data collection of families) was done manually, but with digital technology, it will be more accurate and faster, so it can be quickly utilized and (its benefits) felt by the community," Head of the Jakarta Provincial Social Welfare Bureau Iwan Kurniawan said at the launch of the PKK study room for Dasawisma here on Thursday.

He informed that the launch of the study room was aimed at the standardization of services provided by Dasawisma cadres, especially in collecting data on families.

The activity will not only be felt by PKK cadres but all Regional Apparatus Work Units (SKPDs) in Jakarta, Kurniawan added.

He said that the presence of the PKK study room is a realization of accelerating services by PKK and Dasawisma cadres.

According to him, the transformation of services is a must so that, with the help of digitalization, the data collected can be made more accurate.

Meanwhile, Head of the Data and Information Technology Center of Jakarta's Child Protection and Population Control Empowerment Office Rizky Hamid said that the study room’s establishment was contributed by the PKK Management Information System (SIMPKK), which includes Dasawisma cadre management.

"This activity aims to introduce digital learning methods by TP PKK for Dasawisma cadres and at the same time, disseminate information on the utilization of one-stop family data collection results in the form of the Jakarta family dashboard," Hamid explained.

The Jakarta family dashboard will present 13 data topics related to population, economy, environment, education, family planning, housing, social affairs, disaster potential, information technology, employment, stunting, and transportation.

In the future, this data can be used as a reference for SKPD in many ways, including the provision of social and education assistance.
