Kimia Farma Express is an innovation from PT Kimia Farma Apotek that is a subsidiary of PT Kimia Farma Tbk by promoting the concept of grab and fast.
"Travelers certainly want to receive health necessities in a journey easily and quickly," President Director of Kimia Farma Nurtjahjo Walujo Wibowo noted through a statement on Wednesday.
"Kimia Farma Express will be the correct solution in providing a variety of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines as well as personal care that travelers need," he noted.
Kimia Farma Express is located in tourism destinations, rest areas, airports, and stations. Travelers can easily and quickly obtain medicines and personal care necessities while on a journey to make it more efficient and comfortable.
Kimia Farma Express is spread across nine locations that include the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Sepinggan Airport (Balikpapan, East Kalimantan), Ngurah Rai Airport (Denpasar, Bali), Juanda Airport (Surabaya, East Java), and Sultan Hasanuddin Airport (Makassar, South Sulawesi).
It is also located in Kulon Progo Airport (Yogyakarta), 72A KM Rest Area (Karawang, West Java), Labuan Bajo (East Nusa Tenggara), and 88A KM Rest Area Karawang that recently opened on December 24, 2022.
The addition of KF Express in the 88A KM Rest Area serves as a commitment from Kimia Farma Apotek to continue to expand optimal health service, Wibowo remarked.
The company expects that Kimia Farma Express will be available in more number of locations, so that travelers can easily purchase their health necessities while on a vacation, he said.
Moreover, to facilitate transactions, travelers can make a purchase through cashless transaction methods, such as QRIS, and other non-cash transaction methods, he stated.
