"We continue to maintain public trust by always developing the latest information that will be reviewed through internal and external discussions," chief of Kejati, Reda Manthovani, informed during a year-end reflection here on Thursday.
He said that his office was recently invited by the Commission of the Prosecutor's Office to discuss criminal procedural law.
According to him, the opportunity can improve the quality of Jakarta Kejati's human resources through the sharing of knowledge and the addition of connections.
Not only discussion, but some Jakarta Kejati personnel also worked with the Attorney General's Education and Training Agency as a form of collaboration.
"Activities at the Prosecutor's Office are routinely carried out so that there is information transparency by sharing with each other," Manthovani said.
He further said that he expected the human resource improvement activities to motivate Jakarta Kejati personnel to enhance their performance and contribute more to the country.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Higher Prosecutor's Office has recorded good performance in the fields of development, intelligence, supervision, general crimes, special crimes, civil code and state administrative cases, and military crimes.
Furthermore, it saved the state from financial losses of Rp7.6 trillion in 2022 through its handling of criminal cases.
"The amount of Rp7.6 trillion is the total from saving and returning state losses from special crimes as well as civil and administrative crimes," Manthovani explained.
Out of the Rp7.6 trillion, Rp1.9 trillion came from valuable stolen goods (booty), fines, and confiscated money in special criminal cases, he said.
Meanwhile, the other Rp5.7 trillion came from civil and administrative cases in 2022.
The Jakarta Kejati also resolved 7,886 cases of general crimes through the Notification Letter To Begin Investigation (SPDP).
