These supports include training provided by the Fresh Graduate Academy (FGA), which is a part of the Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) program, head of the ministry’s Human Resource Research and Development Agency, Hary Budiarto, told ANTARA on Friday.
"This gives an opportunity to students who have just graduated from universities to receive competence training, certification, and job," he said.
FGA provides competence training for positions that the industry needs, such as data scientists, metaverse engineers, and digital marketing analysts, which prioritize competence related to the utilization of technology and digital space.
The ministry is collaborating with many partners such as other ministries or institutions, private companies, and renowned technology companies to provide a platform to FGA participants so that they can be absorbed as digital human resources.
FGA participants need to attend a boot camp or intensive training in a hybrid manner to become digital talents.
They undergo a final evaluation based on a project that seeks to provide a solution in keeping with the training's theme and can also get a certification.
Participants who pass the program get the opportunity to undergo an internship and, if they are deemed very competent, they can be hired.
The ministry has also provided another solution through the website diploy.id to allow digital human resources to be absorbed by the industry.
The website is meant to serve as a bridge for digital human resources that have participated in the DTS program but have not yet found employment.
Digital human resources can utilize the website to directly search for job openings, in accordance with their competence, in companies that have partnered with the ministry.
"These companies will always update (information on) what human digital resources that they need through diploy.id. Later, after participating in DTS, they can use the website to apply for jobs that match their training," Budiarto said.
