"I appeal to all Muslims to be able to disseminate more and increase the practice during Ramadan," Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Sa'adi remarked here on Friday.
He said Ramadan is a month full of grace. The reward of every good deed will be multiplied by Allah, the Creator, he said.
Sa'adi noted that the holy month of Ramadan is also not only to quench thirst and hunger but also a momentum to improve self-quality to become better.
"Because this is a month full of grace and maghfirah, and God willing, the reward will be multiplied," the deputy minister stated.
Moreover, he appealed to Muslims to make the holy month of Ramadan a momentum to strengthen brotherhood among people.
He called to avoid all forms of fighting and hostility. However, in the event of any differences, he appealed to Muslims to prioritize peace in resolving differences.
"(It is) because the month of Ramadan is the month of love, the month of affection. Therefore, we must strengthen our brotherhood to all mankind," Sa'adi stated.
He also urged people to maintain the sanctity of Ramadan through ways, including by protecting places of worship, so that they are not used for practical political activities.
"We must protect the sanctity of the month of Ramadan and also places of worship, so that they are not used for practical political activities, as it could lead to divisions between the people," the deputy minister stated.
