The VP, accompanied by Second Lady Wury and a limited entourage, departed from the Indonesian Air Force Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, for Fatmawati Soekarno Airport, Bengkulu, on Wednesday at around 2 p.m. Western Indonesia Standard Time (WIB).
The vice president and the entourage traveled aboard the Air Force's Boeing 737-400 Presidential Special Aircraft.
Later, VP Amin will head to Balai Raya Semarak, Bengkulu, to attend the inauguration ceremony of the province's Regional Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance (KDEKS). On the same occasion, he will also distribute assistance from the National Alms Agency (Baznas).
On the second day, VP Amin and the second lady are scheduled to review the Public Service Mall (MPP) located in Nakau Village, Talang Empat Sub-district, Central Bengkulu District.
After reviewing the MPP, Amin and his entourage will directly head to Fatmawati Soekarno Airport and depart for their next destination, the Jambi governor's official residence via the Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Airport, Jambi.
At the governor's residence, akin to his agenda in Bengkulu, Amin will inaugurate Jambi's KDEKS and hand over assistance from Baznas as well. He will return straight to the airport to fly to Minangkabau International Airport, West Sumatra, thereafter.
On the same day, Amin will pay a visit to the branch (PCNU) and regional (PWNU) management of West Sumatra Nahdlatul Ulama.
On the following day, Friday (May 5), VP Amin will attend the 95th year anniversary of the Tarbiyah Islamiyah Association (PERTI) at Padang State University.
Before returning to Jakarta, the VP will perform Friday prayer at the Al-alzhar Grand Mosque of the university.
