"As of July 17, 2023, today at 12 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time), all placement services through the SISKOTKLN, starting from registration to data collection, were closed," BP2MI head Benny Rhamdani told reporters at a press conference here on Monday.
The closure of the service was based on the Minister of Manpower's Circulation Letter No. B-3/01/PK.002.01/11/2023 on the Use of the Siap Kerja Application and Issuance of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) ID.
Referring to the regulation, he urged Indonesian migrant worker candidates who have registered on SISKOTKLN, but have not finished the entire placement process to register again through the SIAPkerja application. The next stages will be undertaken through SISKOP2MI.
During the registration stage, placement will be undertaken through the integrated system with certain requirements, he informed.
The requirements comprise registration and placement agreement inking within the district/city office's PMI One-Stop Integrated Service (LTSA) through SIAPkerja.
"The document fulfillment process, Pre-Departure Orientation (OPP) and Biometric Fingerprint Data Collection will be undertaken at the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center (BP3MI) through the SISKOP2MI application," he explained.
He added that for PMI candidates who registered on SISKOTKLN before February 17, the next stage will still be conducted on SISKOTKLN no later than five months after its closing.
Otherwise, the next stage will be held after the placement agreement between the Indonesian Migrant Workers Placement Company (P3MI) and Indonesian migrant worker candidates expires.
