"The e-government, with its various initiatives in each sector to improve efficiency, prioritizes collaboration and synergy," he remarked here on Tuesday.
He noted that the ongoing digital transformation in various sectors has had a positive impact on government services.
However, to maintain the efficiency of e-government, government institutions and relevant stakeholders must collaborate with one another, he stated.
He explained that according to data from the United Nations (UN), five important factors can increase the e-government development index (EGDI) in a country.
The five factors are digital innovation, accessibility, community engagement, cybersecurity and data privacy, and collaboration between government and relevant stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Indonesia has shown a positive trend in the development of e-government, with its ranking rising, from 107th in 2018 to 77th in 2022.
Patria said Indonesia's developing e-government system comes along with improvement in the quality of internet services, telecommunications infrastructure, and human resources.
Based on the indicators of e-information, e-consultation, and e-decision-making, Indonesians' participation in e-government rose, from the 92nd rank in 2018 to 37th position in 2022.
"Looking at these data, I believe we are already on the right track. The SPBE initiative launched in 2019, which is strengthened by the SPBE architecture policy launched this year, is our implementation guideline," Patria stated.
He underscored the need to still make several improvements, especially in terms of electronic service integration.
In addition, he stated that the SPBE implementation should prioritize integration, sustainability, efficiency, and interoperability.
Meanwhile, he noted that the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is not only responsible for the SPBE infrastructure but also for coordinating the development of SPBE applications.
"We are ready to collaborate with relevant ministries, institutions, and stakeholders to implement SPBE and present policies to support its implementation," he stated.
