"We have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Stanford University, and God willing, the groundbreaking of the contemporary digital ecosystem will be carried out in the next two months," OIKN Head Bambang Susantono stated here on Tuesday.
At a press conference held by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) in Jakarta, Susantono remarked that there will be a university, industries, and startups, among others, in the digital ecosystem center developed by Stanford University.
"We will build a digital talent community. We are going to do the groundbreaking at the place where the institution will be built," he stated.
He explained that millennial and Generation Z digital talents will be given a place in the digital ecosystem center in Nusantara.

Susantono also remarked that the OIKN collaborates with the Center for Liveable Cities in Singapore and the World Resources Institute in Washington D.C., the United States.
"While we are preparing a proof of concept for projects like flying taxis for 2045 with Hyundai. Hopefully, we can see that," he stated.
The OIKN has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Stanford University's Doerr School of Sustainability.
Under this MoU, Stanford and its alumni in Indonesia are committed to building a world-class research center in Nusantara's core area.
The research results, involving stakeholders, will support the development of Nusantara as a green and sustainable smart city.
OIKN has allocated three hectares for the research center in the core of Nusantara. Stanford alumni in Indonesia are involved in building the research center, and Stanford University will work towards ensuring extensive research activities are conducted.
