Coordinator of the president's advisors, Ari Dwipayana, conveyed the statement through a short message received here on Monday.
"The president respects the MK decision in the PHPU case that is final and binding," he remarked.
He stated that the 2024 Presidential Election is now over, and it is time to reunite to work together to realize a better and advanced Indonesia.
The MK decided that the allegations of fraud and interference with elections against the government were unproven, Dwipayana said.
In the case, the allegations included politicization of the social aid program, instruction for officials, and impartiality of some acting regional heads.
According to Dwipayana, the government will immediately carry out preparation and fully support the process of the government's transition to the president-elect and vice president-elect.
In addition, he ensured that the government remains committed to completing all governmental work programs that have been started until the end of term in October 2024.
On Monday, the MK decided to reject all claims proposed by the number 1 presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and the number 3 pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in the 2024 PHPU case.
In that case, Baswedan-Iskandar's lawsuit was registered under Case Number 1/PHPU. PRES-XXII/2024, where the pair filed nine petitums or claims.
Pranowo-Mahfud MD's lawsuit was registered with Case Number 2/PHPU. PRES-XXII/2024 and the pair filed five petitums.
As the plaintiff, Baswedan-Iskandar urged the MK to annul two General Elections Commission (KPU) decisions that declared Prabowo and Gibran as the candidates with the highest number of votes in the Presidential Election and declared the pair as the election winner.
