Badung, Bali (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) departed for Bali Province from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta, on Sunday, to attend the 10th World Water Forum Summit.

The Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat informed here that President Jokowi left for Bali at 1:40 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) flying the presidential aircraft Indonesia-1.

During the flight, President Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia, the president's Military Secretary Major General Rudy Saladin, and Acting Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana.

Jokowi is scheduled to arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Badung District in the afternoon local time.

The agenda for the 10th WWF Summit will commence with a dinner for leaders and delegates at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, in Badung District.

President Jokowi will attend the ceremonial opening of the World Water Forum on Monday (5/20) at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC).

The agendas will include high-level meetings, luncheons with state leaders, bilateral meetings, and visits to Tahura Mangrove.

The 10th World Water Forum is taking place in Nusa Dua, Bali, from May 18th to May 25th, with a focus on discussing water conservation, clean water and sanitation, food and energy security, and the mitigation of natural disasters.

A total of 244 water-related discussion sessions at the forum are expected to produce concrete results in global water management.
