Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday, State Secretariat Minister Pratikno remarked that the government would also welcome the two former presidents, namely Megawati Soekarnoputri and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono if they preferred to attend a similar ceremony in Jakarta.
"Hence, that is the plan for now. Former vice presidents will be invited to attend the ceremony in Jakarta," he remarked.
Meanwhile, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Heru Budi Hartono, noted that the formal invitations for former presidents and vice presidents are still being prepared.
"The physical form (of the invitation) might be sent this week or next week," he pointed out.
