This was conveyed by the president at the 2024 Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) in Jakarta on Friday.
"I highly appreciate and commend the support and cooperation of all state institutions in propping up Indonesia's progress," he stated while delivering performance reports on state institutions.
According to the president, the MPR has played an active role in solidifying the national ideology, strengthening the plan to formulate the Principles of State Policies, and maintaining harmony among national figures.
Furthermore, Jokowi commended the DPR for performing its legislative functions in conducting budgeting and monitoring.
The DPR has also prepared the 2025 Draft State Budget (RAPBN) for the transition of government, as well as completed several strategic laws, such as the Capital City Law and the Maternal and Child Welfare Law.
President Jokowi underscored that the DPD had continued to monitor the self-sufficiency of autonomous regions in the country, initiated bills, monitored the implementation of laws and regional regulations, and paid special attention to agrarian and food issues.
"The Indonesian State Audit Board (BPK) has monitored the use of the State Budget and reinforced the trust in and leadership of Indonesia at the global level through its active participation in global organizations and forums," he stated.
The president highlighted that the Constitutional Court (MK) has handled more than 202 judicial review cases and adjudicated election disputes.
Meanwhile, Jokowi affirmed that the Supreme Court (MA) and the judicial institutions under it have adjudicated cases and bolstered restorative justice to align the victims' interests and the responsibilities of defendants.
The president stated that the Judicial Commission (KY) has played an active role in realizing the presence of honest and quality judges to increase the trust and satisfaction of the people for the judicial institutions in the country.
The 2024 Annual Session is held with a theme of "New Nusantara, Advanced Indonesia."
At the session, President Jokowi delivered performance reports on state institutions and a State of the Nation Address for the 79th Independence Anniversary of Indonesia.
After the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session, Friday's event will be continued at 1:30 p.m. local time with a plenary meeting of the DPR regarding the 2025 RAPBN.
