Jakarta (ANTARA) - The latest Indikator Politik survey, which found that around 75 percent of Indonesians are satisfied with President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi's) performance ahead of the end of his term, reflects public trust in his administration, an official said.

"This result reflects the public support and trust in President Jokowi's leadership and the policies that have been implemented so far," deputy for protocol, press, and media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, said in a written message received here on Friday.

Permana lauded the results of the Indikator Politik survey, which showed high public satisfaction with the President's performance.

According to him, the satisfaction is evidence that the government's rigorous efforts in various fields, such as infrastructure, health, education, pandemic handling, and economic recovery, have been felt by the community.

However, he said, the government is still facing many challenges. Therefore, President Widodo is continuing to encourage innovation and improvement in his administration, he added.

The Head of State is always open to suggestions and inputs from all elements of society, he said.

"He is always open to inputs from all elements of society to improve the quality of life of the Indonesian people," he expounded.

On a previous occasion, the executive director of Indikator Politik, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, said that the survey respondents were asked "Are you very satisfied, satisfied enough, less dissatisfied, or not satisfied at all with President Jokowi's performance?"

"The majority, or 75 percent (of the respondents), are satisfied with President Jokowi's performance," he informed in the "National Survey: Public Evaluation of the 10 Years of President Joko Widodo's Government" release.

Meanwhile, 15.04 percent of the respondents felt "very satisfied" and 59.92 percent were "satisfied enough" with the Widodo administration's performance.
