"We have (submitted the names). Later, the selection will be carried out by the Presidential Military Secretariat (Setmilpres)," head of the Polri's public relations division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, informed at the Mobile Brigade headquarters in Depok on Monday.
To anticipate possible changes, he refused to divulge the number and names of the aide candidates, who are middle-ranking officers.
However, Nugroho assured that the candidates on the list meet the specified requirements.
"(The requirements) are the same as before. So, there are requirements for rank and education. The minimum rank is grand commissioner," he said.

Prabowo and Raka will be inaugurated as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024–2029 period at 10 a.m. local time on October 20, 2024, at the Nusantara Building in Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta.
The 2024 presidential election candidates and all leaders of political parties participating in the election have been invited to join the inauguration procession.
A number of heads of state have also been invited to the inauguration, which will include an opening ceremony, reading of the General Election Commission's decree, the inauguration procession, reading of the minutes, the new president's speech, and closing ceremony.
