The free health check-up package provided by the government is not only limited to blood pressure checks but also includes other basic health checks, which aim to detect early body conditions and prevent diseases and complications.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin informed the ticket for the free health check-up for the public will be disbursed through the SatuSehat Mobile application.

"The public can start downloading the SatuSehat application now. Those who are eligible for the free check-ups are members of the application," he stated on his Instagram account @bgsadikin on Sunday.

He also explained the free health check-up package provided by the government is not only limited to blood pressure checks but also includes other basic health checks, which aim to detect early body conditions and prevent diseases and complications.

He added that the policy applies to the entire life cycle starting from babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults, to the elderly.

"However, this is not a medical check-up as imagined in private clinics or private labs, which cost millions of rupiah," he added.

Through this program, the government invites the public to pay more attention to their health and well-being in a simple and accessible way, the minister remarked.

He informed that tickets disbursed through the SatuSehat application can be used by beneficiaries on their birthdays for a health check-up at health facilities affiliated with this program.

The SatuSehat application is a public health application that allows users to access health services and personal health data.

This application is integrated with the SatuSehat Platform, a health data exchange (HIE) ecosystem in Indonesia.

The implementation of free health check-ups will start in 2025. The policy is included in the acceleration programs (quick win) initiated by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka which has been entrusted to the Ministry of Health.

The other acceleration programs are the construction of hospitals in the regions and the handling of tuberculosis.
