In a statement issued on Wednesday, he asserted that coordination among involved parties in the transportation sector is crucial for ensuring the safety and comfort of travelers.

On Tuesday, he visited Tanjung Emas Port in Semarang, Central Java, to inspect the integrated planning and control room at the port's passenger terminal.
The room enables officers to digitally manage traffic and monitor all port services, including loading and unloading operations.
The port operates six passenger vessels, two of which belong to the state-run shipping company PT Pelni. These ships serve routes to Pontianak, Ketapang, Kumai, Sampit, and Karimun Jawa.
The Ministry of Transportation has projected a total of 110.67 million movements during the year-end holidays, with nearly 3 million people expected to choose sea travel.
