Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto stated that in the first three months, or the first 100 days, of his presidency since October 2024, his government has implemented several people-centric policies.

He conveyed this while giving directions at a cabinet meeting in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Prabowo thanked cabinet members and heads of agencies for their hard work in delivering results for the people.

He noted that these achievements were not easy, given that the three-month period coincided with the transition to the new year.

"We have been able to achieve a stable condition, filled with tranquility," he said.

The people-centric policies introduced by the government include the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, the exemption of house building permit fees for low-income communities, and food and energy self-sufficiency programs.

Since its launch on January 6, the MBG program has reached 650,000 children in 31 provinces, Prabowo said, emphasizing that by the end of 2025, all Indonesian children are expected to benefit from free meals.

The program aims to target 3 million children by April, 6 million by August, and 15 million by September.

"I believe that in the near future, we will see an improvement in the academic abilities of our children," he said, expressing optimism about the program's impact.
