She attributed this achievement partly to the optimal implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP), which has helped prevent losses in both the state budget (APBN) and regional budgets (APBD).
"This feat proves that pursuing accountable bureaucracy is a solution, not a burden," she remarked at a coordination meeting on 2025-2029 bureaucratic reform policies and 2024 evaluations at her office in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Widyantini then drew attention to impactful bureaucracy, emphasizing its role in improving the quality of public services.
“Achieving impactful bureaucracy goes beyond producing favorable performance reports. It must deliver real progress to the public through prompt services, well-targeted programs, and responsible budget use,” she stated.
The minister then appealed to all ministries, agencies, and regional governments to align their steps to improve governance and focus on measurable outcomes.
Meanwhile, PANRB Ministry's Deputy for Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability, and Supervision, Erwan Agus Purwanto, emphasized the significance of the Bureaucratic Reform Index in evaluating the performance and quality of public services at the regional level.
In this regard, he urged relevant ministries and agencies to provide guidance to local governments, assisting them in improving governance and addressing specific challenges they are facing.
He then expressed hope that all state institutions would learn from the evaluations of last year's performances to boost their contribution to bureaucratic reform efforts aimed at enhancing governance and public services, improving budget efficiency, and reducing cases of corruption.
