According to the minister, the Israeli action amounts to a violation of the law and undermines the foundation of international law.
“We are aware of this, and we condemn the attack,” he told the media on Friday.
The Foreign Minister said the attack would have implications and worsen the situation if all parties involved do not restrain themselves.
He added that his ministry will continue to monitor the situation.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the Indonesian Embassy in Tehran is currently contacting Indonesian citizens in Iran to check their condition and safety.
Earlier, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta condemned the Israeli attack and called on all UN member states, particularly regional countries, Islamic countries, members of the Non-Aligned Movement, and others, to condemn Israel’s aggression against Iran.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran calls on all member states of the United Nations—especially regional countries, Islamic countries, members of the Non-Aligned Movement, and all countries concerned with international peace and security—to immediately condemn this criminal aggression,” the statement from the Iranian Embassy in Jakarta said.
Early on Friday local time, the Israeli military was reported to have violated the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Iran by carrying out attacks on several locations, including residential areas in Tehran and several other cities.
Without specifying the number of casualties, the Iranian Embassy said that a number of people, including civilians, were killed in the strikes.
Iran also said it will respond to the attack.
“Based on Article 51 of the UN Charter, Iran has the legal and legitimate right to defend itself, and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond with all forces at the time and in the manner it deems appropriate to defend the honor and sovereignty of the nation,” it said.
