Noudhy Valdryno, Deputy for Dissemination and Information Media at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), made the statement during a discussion on employment opportunities, MSMEs, and Indonesia's economic independence in Jakarta on Saturday.
"The president aims to raise Indonesia's economic growth to eight percent. However, it is impossible to achieve this goal through one sector only. We must bolster three channels of growth simultaneously," he remarked, as monitored virtually.
Valdryno identified these channels as supporting the growth of local major companies, boosting the activities and investment of international firms in various sectors nationwide, and guiding Indonesian MSMEs to level up their playing field.

"Our MSMEs should not be stagnant. If we aim for eight percent economic growth, our MSMEs should always achieve progress. Not all of them will emerge as major companies, but it is important to ensure that some of them expand their business every year," he elaborated.
The official emphasized the need for collaboration among institutions, including the Manpower Ministry, to foster an enabling environment for MSMEs to grow, both in urban and rural regions across Indonesia.
"Since the president wants equitable economic growth, it is crucial to generate job opportunities in all regions, including villages," he affirmed.
He added that sufficient access to infrastructure and financing schemes should be complemented with efforts to improve the quality of human resources.
"All of the president's ideas are built on the need for improved human resource quality. Our MSMEs will find it difficult to grow without support from talents with expertise not only in marketing but also in finance and business development," he remarked.
He also affirmed the PCO's commitment to disseminating information on the president's vision and mission to draw support from the public.
